Silicone Sealant

Silicone sealants play an integral role in the construction and longevity of insulating glass (IG) units. Acting as a secondary seal, silicone ensures the highest level of structural rigidity and insulation of the unit. Cardinal’s Endur® IG and XL Edge® IG utilizes silicone as the secondary sealant of their dual-seal construction.

Characteristics and benefits of silicone sealant
